The Epicurean Lowland Malt Scotch Whisky: In one of our small batches of "The Epicurean", you can bet on a nose rich in barley, citric, floral and herbal. The sweet palate that coats the mouth displays crisp sugar, burnt citrus, mixed spices, thyme, peaches and hard caramel... All with a charming base and enriched on the finish with more of that older herbal character, in a fragrance of almonds, cut grass and burnt sugar.
Whisky Timorous Beastie Highland Malt Scotch Whisky: Extremely sweet on the nose, then warm in floral, light barley and spicy honeyed tones. The palate opens in a spicy style with fruity raisin notes and a sugary, fudgey character. The finish is subtle but sweet with real oak, milky cereal notes and slow meringue.
Scallywag Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky: The nose is rich with spices and delicious vanilla. The palate shows layer upon layer of sweet boiled fruit, Christmas pudding and dark chocolate infused with nutmeg and cinnamon. The finish shows a burst of vibrant orange with sweet smoke, cocoa and fruit cake.
Rock Oyster Island Malt Scotch Whisky: Anticipate wave-soaked rocks and a salty oceanic, fresh effect on the nose, followed by an initially delicate palate that carries soft and rather sweet peat alongside smoke, honey, wet ash and develops with liquorice and pepper. The maritime quality is carefully reproduced on the long, more intense finish.
Big Peat Islay Malt Scotch Whisky: The nose opens fresh, salty and clean and evolves into malted barley dried over peat. A wet, earthy character that is immediately rough. On the palate you will detect ashes, sweet tar, beaches and smoking chimneys. The finish is long and salty, spicy licorice, smoke and even more fire ashes.
