The history of Nonino goes back to 1897 when Orazio Nonino founded the first distillery in the Friuli region. Now the family has five distilleries, where members of the family monitor all stages of production and select excellent raw material from stemless grapes. Nonino's cellar nowadays has 1855 oak barrels from various forests, Sherry and acacia, cherry and pear barrels, creating excellent aged spirits.
