Komos Cristalino Anejo Mexican Tequila 40% 0.7L

Tequila Komos Anejo Cristalino is an incredible tequila that is unlike anything else. The Casa Komos Brands Group, of which it is a part, was founded in 2019 by Richard Betts and Joe Marchese to create premium spirits. The first spirit they started with was the one they knew best, tequila. Thus, Tequila Komos Anejo Cristalino was born.

Its base is blue agave, hand-picked from the slopes and plains of Chalisco. The agave is then traditionally baked in ovens and then distilled twice in copper containers. The distillate is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels aged before the white wine, rather than in bourbon oak barrels as usual. It is then distilled through a carbon column to remove all impurities (hence the cristalino). Finally, before bottling, the spirit is matured in Greek amphorae to come into contact with just enough oxygen to make it smooth and round.

Tequila Komos Anejo Cristalino has a clear, crystal clear color and aromas of caramelized pineapple, lime zest, flowers, tobacco, cedar and spices from the oak aging. On the palate, the alcohol is nicely integrated into the whole. It has a medium body and an oily texture. The fruit on the palate is sweeter and has a herbal and metallic dimension.
