Famous Grouse 12 Y.O Grand Reserve Whisky 0.7L Whisky
The Famous Grouse is a blended Scotch whisky, which was first produced under that name in 1896 by the family firm of Matthew Gloag & Son, well-known wine and whisky merchants in the county of Perth, Scotland. Famous Grouse was named in honour of the capercaillie, a very common chicken in Scotland, which is the country's symbol bird. Currently, the brand is owned by The Edrington Group, a company specialising in the production of spirits and owner of famous distilleries such as The Macallan and Highland Park.
The blend ( blend ) of The Famous Grouse 12 Years takes the aforementioned single malts, The Macallan and Highland Park, in addition to grain whisky, all aged for at least 12 years. Recognised as excellent value for money whisky since 1980, Famous Grouse is the best-selling whisky brand in Scotland.
