  • It was first created in 1525 and contrary to popular belief, it is not made from almonds, but owes its characteristic bitter almond aroma to the apricot pits used.
  • It is produced by extracting the oil of apricot fruit in pure alcohol, sugar and flavouring from 17 different herbs and fruits.
  • 28% alcohol.
  • Enjoy it neat, with ice and in many cocktails. Try it in equal proportions with bourbon and added lemon juice for a very refreshing cocktail.

Our cellar has been operating since 1995. In our shop you can find Drinks, Wines, Soft drinks, Organic products, Cigars and Gifts like baskets.

Its name comes from the island of Santorini.

The Kanava is actually the Santorini Kava which is built into the rocks of Santorini. Our cellar is located in Vari at 26 Anagyrountos Street. Our shop managers are Velonia Angeliki & Panagiotis Chrysomallidis.
