Celeste Selection Torres Dry Red Wine 0.75L

At an altitude of 895 metres, the Torres family has for the first time created a wine in the Ribera del Duero, Celeste. Where at dusk the air is intense and full of scents, the sun illuminates the vineyards brilliantly during the day and the wine is made from 100%

Tempranillo.

It is then matured for 12 months in American and French barrels.

Its colour is deep purple. The nose is dominated by ripe forest fruits (blackberries and cherries) while the spicy notes of liquorice and black pepper complement it perfectly. On the palate the fruit continues to play a leading role with the ripe tannins and fresh acidity offering the wine an excellent structure and rich body. The long fruity aftertaste is characteristic.

Served at 16oC and paired with duck in red fruit sauce. It can be aged for 10 years from harvest.
